A GK Hungry Horse outlet on an estate just outside with the usual meal deals. This one is slightly more clever as its natural L-shape has been used to divide one area as a drinkers' bar then (despite the bar being L-shaped and serving both rooms) you have to access the dining area via a door. A squat pool table in the bar area along with exclusively tall tables and seats only. Nice touches are sporting photos of local teams through the ages, although the flashing fruit machines and more than overloud muzak are unnecessary (the latter massively so on a Sunday evening with few in attendance). GK IPA, Olde Trip and Ruddles County on stumps with a fourth unclipped. Riddles good. It does the job for its community, so there's little to disparage although I'm sure the locals would prefer not to have to shout their conversations.
