The Hollybush is a decent looking stone built pub that is set in a terrace on a nice looking street.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room to the front which is bare boarded, the seating is normal tables and chairs and seating is the windows, there is a separate dining room to the rear.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Roosters YPA which went down very well, the other beers were Thwaites Lancaster Bomber and GK Hollybush bitter.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to have a drink in.

Old Boots left this review about Hollybush Inn

Much trendy grey paintwork, candle powered tables, arty prints, eclectic unmatched furniture and lots of wine on display puts this one firmly in gastro pub country if not quite pub themed restaurant. But it is not quite as you can buy an averagely kept pint of beer from the solitary handpump or a national keg brand from the discretely low T Bar, without buying a meal. Tables can be reserved however. BTW mains run from £11 to £20 and it does sell burgers, although at £11 a time. The atmosphere is that of a slightly boisterous wine bar with a mixed if middle class clientèle. It holds open mic Sundays for music and the background music is slightly loud but unusual and interesting.
