An old school Brakspear house - the only one in Thame - is an old school boozer situated towards the end of Thame's High Street. This doubles up as a Thai restaurant, but is more a pub that offers food than the other way around. Low-ceilinged, exposed beams and a huge sign bracket out front means this is one of Thame's more attractive pubs, however a three ale line-up on my visit of Brakspear Bitter, Oxford Gold and Jenning's Hop Commotion (good though the latter was) may be a warning for the curious.
