Depends what you are after. A solid looking side street boozer in wonderful cotswold stone. Small bar as you enter, with dining room behind. In front. To the side. Every table setup for Sunday lunch.
It is in the GBG2024 edition - a tied hook norton house. The Old Hooky in perfect condition but where should I take my half to sit and enjoy.
The pretty beer garden seemed the logical choice.

The small bar is to your left as you enter and offered three flavours of Hook Norton beers - Hooky, Hooky Gold and Old Hooky, with a further stump unclipped. There are two Cask Marque plaques either side of the front entrance and my half of Hooky Gold was in excellent shape and served in a fluted Hook Norton half glass which was a nice touch. Quite pleasant surrounds - wooded floor, exposed beams and rendered walls, save for the stone fireplace to the bar's left. Yes, they ask you if there's "anything else" after you order, but you're not made to feel unwelcome like you are at some food-led establishments.

Walked in and is an overpriced restaurant with a small bar in the corner. Won't rate as didn't stop for drink. Owner a bit camp
