Worth the schlep out of Bicester after visiting the overrated outlet shopping centre on a rainy July Sunday, with a friendly welcome from both landlady, landlord and locals and a well-kept pint of Spitfire making me feel right at home. A dying breed; there were probably thousands of pubs like this around the country 20+ years ago. Be warned though, the opening hours can be erratic.
