Komakino . left this review about The Stags Head

The picturesque village of Swalcliffe houses The Stags Head, located opposite the local church, and which proclaims itself a free house. Disappointingly, of the three handpumps, just two were in action and dispensed Adnams Southwold Bitter and Shepherd Neame Spitfire. The interior has a rustic feel, enhanced by the locals, several of whom were in farming-type apparel, and food-wise there's much emphasis on their Greek menu. Despite the ale misgivings, the suntrap garden and friendly barman see the score moved up to 5.
