Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Horse & Jockey
Very basic pub formed from two old buildings of slightly different ceiling heights inside (with a single step between the two parts). Very little furniture, leaving space for whatever DJ or karaoke nights might happen here on busier evenings. No real ale, and only a limited and dull keg selection, but I was thirsty after a long walk so had a quick John Smith's (£3.50) before moving on.

Two roomed boozer down a side street from the Cross, with no ale. The regulars and the interior had both seen better days so we moved on.
