Alan Winfield left this review about The Butchers Arms

The Butchers Arms is a nice looking pub that is set sideways onto the road.
Once inside there is a single room with the bar facing, the left side is carpeted and had comfortable leather seats around small tables there was a dining area to the right which was down one step this area had a stone floor and the tables were laid out ready for diners.
There is a nice looking garden to the side of the pub and for colder weather there was a selection of board games to play.
This pub is a Hook Norton tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Hookey bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Old Hookey.
I quite liked this pub and it was a good starting point for our Hook Norton pub crawl.
