Komakino . left this review about Talbot Hotel

Primarily a small squarish room, albeit with a pool room accessed to the right via a narrow corridor. A tiny L-shaped bar is to your front right on entry with bench seating and a table in the bay window opposite the bar. A handful of standard rectangular wooden tables to the right with seating against the walls of the bench variety with upholstered cushioning. Just the one ale one - a decent Butcombe Bitter for a reasonable £1.60 a half. A smattering of locals was eventually swelled by a couple from the next-door Romany and this is another friendly boozer in this lovely market town. Old photos on the walls of the local Morris Men performing outside this establishment in days gone by, song with darts and Aunt Sally trophies on display, and although this is more League 1 compared to The Morris Clown and Romany Inn, you feel it wouldn't take too much application to move this up a League.
