Komakino . left this review about The Plough Inn

My last visit here was a Friday evening and the place was heaving meaning once I'd ordered my beer there was a quandary over where to park myself. This revisit gave me a chance to have a proper look around my surroundings and even grab a table to myself. The only pub in the village (a private residence a few doors up is entitled Red Lion House) this has two distinct areas - a main bar area and a dining area, through an open doorway to the left. The bar is against the left-hand wall and there's plenty of seating options in front in an area which appears to have been more than one room before. Furniture is pleasingly dark-wooded and of the table and chairs / benches variety. A smattering of breweriana dots the walls and the bar is also a dark-wooded affair. It's a Wadworth house, so your visit will be shaped upon your experience with that brewery - 6X (x2), IPA and something called 'Treacle Treat' (one their seasonals). I liked this place, so I'll let them off the ale range, mainly because of the seasonal, but I think at any other time this could come across a little one-dimensional.
