Formerly the Plough, from the outside it looks a bit like another bad “orish” makeover with the Guinness harp windows, inside it's a reasonable single room pub with a mix of furnishings mainly traditional benches, tables and chairs but with a soft furnishings corner, used by the daft pub dog on my visit. The landlord obviously cares about the quality of the ales, there are three pumps with Batemans on one and one from Loose Cannon on another, a couple of T bars serve the usuals. Mainly carpeted there are plain white walls and the space over the counter is decorated with footballing prints, a few twigs are also in evidence. There's a big pull down screen, a dart board and a small beer garden. Surprisingly quiet considering it's a good pub with decent beer.
