The Newcastle Arms is almost opposite the Hole in the wall.
This pub used to be a John Smiths tied house that sold real ale in the 80s.
This pub was fairly smart inside the bar was to the right as you entered and there was also a seperate pool room that you could see through small pane glass windows,the pub was quite smart and comfortable with a decent atmosphere.
I think this pub has now closed down i have passed it several times in the evening and there has been no sign of life.
