A much-refurbished lounge bar and restaurant with the Canvas music venue attached. Almost a nightclub feel, with darkish decor and odd brightly-coloured lighting, but somewhat spoilt by the pervasive smell of fried fish (ok, it was a Friday but still!). The restaurant section is behind the bar and there is also a patio area to the rear. Apparently it used to offer a selection of ales but there was just Castle Rock Harvest Pale badged on the pumps which proved to be not on, leaving a stupidly-priced Beavertown as the distress purchase. Frankly I saw little reason to return.

This has got to be the most stylish pub in Mansfield. I've tried the daytime and evening menu's and the food and service is excellent. The acoustic nights on Tuesdays are great for a chill out with mates. Highly Reccomended. G
