A small traditional hotel on the edge of town, with a gloriously old fashioned small traditional hotel bar lurking amongst the dining and function rooms. Even 'ring the bell for service'. It just needs a murder and Miss Marple to be complete. There is a nice lawned garden at the rear but more importantly two Hadrian's ales on pump.
