Rather than restoring what must once have been an imposing Georgian hotel, they have created some sort of grotto festooned with creepers and fairy lights. Little bits of stonework and panelling peep through helplessly. And I have seldom heard such rubbish musak. The glitzy bar at the back has just 4 keg taps, offering the delightful range of Atlantic, Carling, Madri and Aspalls. Frankly little to commend here.

You think that it is christmas when you enter this pub, Lights galore. There was two real ales on tap when I visited, both in excelent condition.
