Already well described, I'll simply note that you'll find a friendly welcome here and a decent range of ale.
Beers on were: Titanic Iceberg, Hop Back Summer Lightening, Doom Bar, Digfield Chiffchaff and Tidd Steam Roadhouse with all that we tried in good shape.
Another very decent option just off the main drag.

A street corner free house, this is the last remaining Letter named pub in Whittlesey with the Letter A and C having closed years ago.The current landlord is a long standing publican in the area, and his focus here is on real ale. There are two entrances ,with two bars seperated by an internal corridor. The right side has a darts board to the rear and is long and thin, while the left sided bar has a lot of prints and photos of the area over the years. The furniture is an odd mix, with what appears to be tables and chairs which may have come from a conference room at a large hotel, metal frames with velour coverings. It didn't feel very pubby and the artex wall coverings didn't help. The place was quiet on a Tuesday evening, although B&B guests were regularly coming and going from their accomodation.
The landlord is an engaging character ,and was happy to chat to a couple of strangers on all things beer and pub related. He keeps all the brass gleaming around the bar,and the copper pipes in the urinals were equally shiny.
The 2019 GBG entry is fully deserved and the condition of my Hop Back Summer Lightening and Titanic Iceberg was tip top. There are 5 handpumps operating,20 ciders in a fridge and countless gin options. It may not have much internal charm ,but the quality and range of real ale options would always merit a visit the next time I'm in town.A great double header with the nearby Boat.

This is an odd pub with an unusual name that looks as though it was created by knocking together some terraced housing. Inside it's a long narrow area with a central bar on the left as you enter and a tiled public bar area on the right. There is also a plusher room behind the bar. A doorway in the public area leads to a decked patio. The public area has a dartboard and TV at the far end,
The bar holds five hand pumps, there are more on the other side but I assume they have the same beers. On my visit these were Doom Bore, Tydd Steam Barn Ale & Mind Bend, Hop Back Summer Lightning and Mile Tree Crescent Ale.
I went for the Tydd Steam Mind Bend (£3.20) which seemed good value for a 5.5% beer and was in excellent condition.
I also noticed there was a cold cabinet stuffed with various ciders.
This was easily the best of the four pubs visited in Whittlesea. It is a regular GBG entry.
