Blue Scrumpy left this review about Riverdale Hall Hotel
This hotel can be found just outside the village of Bellingham, overlooking open fields. There is a decent size garden at the rear.
The entrance displayed a sign requesting visitors called a telephone number to announce their arrival. This was the first time I'd seen this procedure during these strange times. A temperature check and track and trace was also required in addition to the government's track and trace, before you could get a drink. As such, I wasn't surprised to see the bar empty.
The bar area has 2 separate rooms. Both are typical of a country hotel. We sat in a bay window overlooking the garden.
The real ale was First & Last Reiver. But unless you're staying here, there's very little to encourage you to visit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Riverdale Hall Hotel
Quite an upmarket hotel on the outskirts of Bellingham, with a small bar lounge open to non-residents. Rather fussy furniture and decor, but offers a good view across the grounds towards the North Tyne. Slightly surprisingly, two real ales available on handpump. (NB - Review dates from July 2012.)
