Alan Winfield left this review about The Golden Pheasant

The Golden Pheasant is situated in the small village of Etton, the pub looks more like a manor house from the outside and it is set in its own grounds.
Once inside there was a largish oblong shaped room that was capeted and had normal tables and chairs plus a few chesterfield settees, there was a seperate dining room to the rear.
There were four pumps on the bar with one unclipped,i had a drink of Castle Rock Harvest Pale which was a very nice drink, the other beers were St Austell Tribute and Old Speckled Hen.
There is a large garden to the front of the pub which was quite busy on this nice day.
This was a decent enough pub to have a drink in.
