Will Larter left this review about The White Horse

A multi-roomed pub, with games room to the left of the entrance corridor, and a dining room to the right but accessed from the centre of the pub. The bar is in a room to the right rear and was the only room with anyone in at the time of my Sunday evening visit. The customers were a little boistrous, and I imagine that they were not, unlike me, indulging in their first alcoholic beverage of the day. There's no real ale here, so I had Belhaven Black, the equivalent of Guinness, and equally cold and bland. There was very loud music from a large video screen in the bar, so I adjourned to the games room, despite the fact that there was no seating in there, to write a few notes and make good my escape. I can't see myself returning.
