Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Three Horseshoes

The Three Horseshoes is in the centre of the village of Ecton. There is a one-way system in operation through the pub. I went in to check out the beer range, before exiting to sit in the decked area at the rear, as children are not currently allowed inside.

Staff at the bar were friendly and I passed my order whilst perusing the beers, with them subsequently delivered to our table.

St Austell Proper Job is the regular ale. Guests were Ecton Benjamin Franklin, Oakham JHB & Timothy Taylor Boltmaker. The Benjamin Franklin is now brewed in the car park. His family worked the local forge. Also in the car park, is a vinyl record shop.

Certainly an unusual village pub, but one which I quite enjoyed visiting.
