The Jeckyll & Hyde is a decent sized pub that is one of many on this stretch of Wellingborough Road.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room with the bar on the left side, the front area is carpeted and has bench seating and chairs, the rear area is bare boarded and has bench seating on the right side.
There were no real ales on the bar,so i had a drink of Kronenburg 1664 which was decent enough.
The TVs were showing vintage music videos.
The pub was almost empty on our early Saturday afternoon visit, but would no doubt get busier in the evening.

This is a nice sized pub that seems to pride itself on live entertainment that can be found here on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in the form of discos, jam sessions, karaoke and open mic nights. Happy hour(s), or ‘happy pockets’ as it is known, is from 11:00 until 19:00 on Mondays through to Fridays and there is a late closing license until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. There are some TVs dotted about that are used alongside a projector screen to show Sky Sports and there is a dartboard on the rear wall. There is also a huge green sofa on the back wall that is very hard not to notice. One thing that I didn’t see were any hand pumps, but there is a standard draught selection and the Guinness is perfectly acceptable.

The Wellingborough Road area where this pub is located seems to be the cheap area of town, which is good for the wallet in these hard times and I’d certainly pop back in here again to watch the football if I was passing.
