Bog standard locals pub, usual suspect keg only, that said its very much a proper pub and well attended, half a Strongbow was enough though.

The Rifle Drum is a very small pub that is on a narrow street just off the market place.
Once inside the bar faces in a very small and basic room,the floor i bare boarded,there is bench seating and small stools for seating.
There are no real ales on the bar,i opted for a half of Kronenburg 1664 which was drinkable and no doubt better than the John Smiths smooth crap or John Smiths Extra Cold Crap which were on the bar.
The pub was very busy on our early Saturday dinner visit.
It is nice to small pubs like this still open.

A very basic one-room bar with no real ale on the bar. It's a lovely example of this sort of pub, with bare boards, wood panelling,racing on TV and Irish music. If you don't mind keg beer, this would be a decent spot in which to spend an afternoon. Being a fan of real ale, I just drank my half of Kronenbourg 1664 and moved on.
