A backstreet corner pub that has been quite severely modernised and stripped out inside making it seem almost like a craft bar. There are five handpumps with four ales on, Marstons Saddle Tank, Phipps IPA and Potbelly Crazy Daze which was fine, I have now forgotten the fourth ale, there was a selection of Craft Keg stuff as well.

The Princess Alexandra is a smallish corner pub that is situated just off the shopping area of Northampton.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room which has a tiled floor,the bar is on the right side,there are tall tables and chairs on the left side and some settees and tables to the front.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Nobbys Midsummer Crown,which went down well,the other beers noted were Nobbys Best Bitter and Hobgoblin,i could not read the notes of the other beer.
Food was being served and background music was playing.
The pub seemed to modern inside for my liking.
