Our first stop of a short 5-pub crawl of Northamptonshire was this village local, with a friendly landlord.

I couldn't find the free car park in the village. But parking was available in the side street opposite the pub.

The vinyl records are still on the walls. Live football (BT Sport) was showing on the TV.

The central bar has 4 handpulls. These had some rather unusual local ales - Avalanche Glide, Tring Squadron Scramble & Kings Cliffe B5, along with Lilley's Red Rabbit as the real cider. No CAMRA discount was offered.

A good start to our Sunday visit to Northants.

Called in while on a coach trip round some pubs in Northamptonshire and really liked this one with the decor of old vinyl records on the walls. We enjoyed our Nobbys Swift Nick and Beowulf Chase Buster beers. Also available was Tring Iy's all about the Hops.
