Reading between the Facespook lines it's changed hands recently. It remains a pleasant, opened out affair but still three distinct areas and a bit of a garden outside. Fairly basic but not in yer face food wise and fine as a village local. Hook Norton bitter, gold and old on the bar and very nice the Hooky Bitter was too.
The opening hours as posted don't intersect with reality. We called at 3.30pm and they closed up at 4pm; be prepared to suffer the Chef and Brewer abomination down the road if it's shut.
Would make an excellent break from the nightmare that's the A43 if you're passing at the right time.

A rectangular one-roomer (formerly two) with a staring locals in this village just off the A43. Sharp's Doom Bar, CW Bombardier Gold and Adnam's Lighthouse available on handpump, and the latter was in good enough nick.
