This pub has now been taken over my Sam Smiths brewery and like all their pubs only sells their own products. there are two main rooms, the bar/lounge to the right with lots of seating or the left darts lounge with a smaller room holing a pool table. They did not sell their cask Old brewery bitter here so i opted for their keg version which was ok but not a patch on the cask version but still charged the usual £1.80. The bar was pretty busy with middle aged drinkers on my visit but the darts room was much quieter. A nice enough standard Sams pub with nothing out of the ordinary.

The Falcon is just off the main road going through Tadcaster.
This pub has been done up inside in the modern style but it still looks quite nice,i went in the room on the right there may have been another room but i did'nt look.
There wer two real ales on here i had a drink of John Smiths cask which was a fairly nice drink the other beer was Old Speckled Hen.

During our stay at Shann House hotel, six of us had a evening meal. We all commented on how nice it was & how it was presented. it was a good choice for our only meal. Would call again when in the area
