Called in twice on our visit to Ripon they have made a nice beer garden and spent a lot of money on the place by the looks. Early tea time both nights when we called in had a few in looks as if it could get busy on a weekend

Biggish pub with entrance through an archway. This pub has had a checkered recent history. Modernish decor in a U shaped bar, various events every week- karoke, quiz etc. Can be quite a lively pub. Only John Smiths Cask plus a fair sprinkling of keg beers. Pool table and a big outdoor drinking area. Some people might say the most positive comment is to say the building next door used to be a pub.

I would recommend this to anyone. the management and staff are very friendly. The pub is an idiot free zone and has a fantastic karaoke every Friday night. Good beer, Good Music and nice people.
