Oh dear, I went in; bit of a queue, went for a leak, came back exactly the same queue, didn’t think waiting for a probably indifferent Ossett Blonde would be worth the wait, left pub.

This pub is obviously aimed at the younger end of the market. There are lots of TV screens showing sport and a pool table dominating the lounge area. Comfortable seating around the place and it looks like it's had a bit of a spruce up recently. 3 handpumps on the bar serving Deuchars, JS Cask & Directors. I hadn't had a pint of Directors for ages so I tried one. It was OK without being really well kept. I think we'd miss this one out of our next Knaresborough crawl.

Although formerly the Harts it is now badged as “H - art bar” and the interior has been redecorated in a more minimalist style complete with cream walls, light wood matching furniture in a single room with some partioning. None the less it still has the ambiance of a town pub. Three handpulls with lacklustre Theakstons Best, plus Deuchars IPA and Jennings Crag Rat labelled as a guest ale. Usual sort of kegs from John Smith's (smooth), Fosters, Kronenburg, Heinekin etc. Screens and machines as expected, mixed clientele and reasonable staff.

This pub is in the middle of Knaresborough and once inside it seemed like a jaded trendy pub that was in need of attention.
There were no real ales on the bar with the only bitter being John Smiths smooth crap so i had a Guinness.
This was the worst pub i visited in Knaresborough.
