Old Boots left this review about The Board Inn

Basic boozer in Knaresborough High Street although it has some interesting Tower Brewery stained glass windows and might be a lot older than it looks judging by some of the old beams inside. A big L shaped bar, with five lagers, John Smith's smooth and smooth extra cold plus two handpulls dispensing Hobgoblin and past its best John Smiths Cask. Bench seating throughout the room, the back section is a bit quieter but does have the games machines, TVs showing sport in both parts. Popular and busy with mostly middle aged working men, it appears to be very much a locals pub. There is a Pint and Chilli for £6 night on Thursdays and there is a garden cum smoking area at the back.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Board Inn

The Board inn is a largish looking pub just off the main shopping area.
Once inside there was a largish room that was fairly basic but comfortable enough and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Black Sheep bitter this was ok but nothing special the other beer was John Smiths cask.
This was a proper old pub and it was very quiet on my monday dinner visit.
