Old Boots left this review about Yorkshire Hussar Inn

Three bar multi room village pub, the front bar has two pulls with Daleside Blonde and Taylor’s Boltmaker, the rear bar had a handle less one, usual keg stuff on T-bars. My Boltmaker was fine but very cold. At one end there’s a snug with a pool table and dart board as well as a bit of counter. A rear extension houses a more dining room like area. The place looks recently made over with new upholstery on the banquettes, chairs and pews. The ceiling is fairly low and beamed in light wood (or possibly plastic), although it is an old building. The plain white walls are decorated with a few photos and postcards, two old guns hang over the stone fireplace which is home to a wood burner and cannons (!). As with many country pubs there’s a focus on dining but not in extremis. The disabled and infirm should use the rear entrance as the front one has some very highly spaced steps. The pub also services the caravan site behind.
