Old Boots left this review about The Stone Beck

A basic estate pub that has recently reopened with some renovation and has become more basic it’s quite bare and stripped back, with stark white walls and grey painted woodwork. It still has two bars but it looks like just the public bar is in use by the looks of things. It has the usual machines and pool and darts but no screens. It is dog friendly with snacks. Beer wise just a selection of the usual suspects, Pravha is probably the most interesting of a mundane bunch which includes the immortal John Smith’s Smooth crap.

Located in the middle of the Jennyfield housing estate but not a bad estate pub it looks to be well run and serve its local community well. It has a traditional public and lounge bar layout served from a central servery. The front of the building has four odd turret affairs, under the two over the public bar are a pool table and a table football machine, the ones over the lounge have pleasant sitting areas beneath them. Traditional buttoned leather upholstered benches with tables and chairs in the public while the lounge is furnished with armchairs around tables. There are a lot of machines in the public and a big pull down screen, décor is minimal but a collection of football shirts is attached to the roof of one turret. Four handpumps but only John Smith's Cask available otherwise the standard keg range.
