Old Boots left this review about The Harrogate Arms

A stone built pub beside the car parks for the Royal Horticultural Society gardens at Harlow Carr, it appears to have been a large private house before becoming a pub. Through the main door is an entrance hall with the bar counter at one end, through an arch to the left is a dining room furnished mainly with tables and chairs but also with a group of leather chairs and sofa beside the stone fireplace. At the front and to the right is a more pub like room with a pool table. Two handpumps grace the counter, dispensing rather cold guest beers - Ringwood and Everards on my visit. The usual sort of kegs are also available. Opposite the pub is a picnic area with tables, a childrens play area and a stable with a couple of donkeys in residence.
