A classic village pub it's a single L shaped room with dining throughout but certainly not to the exclusion of drinkers. Decor is in the country style; mainly cricket, equine and brass in nature. The food comes with a warning that any game dish may contain shot. The stone built counter is home to three pulls with a selection of Theakstons' beers, there's also a four tap T-bar of the best loved kegs.
