Old Boots left this review about The 3 Coopers

A Jennings badged pub down a side street just off the Market Place, naturally the beers are from Marstons plus standard UK kegs. Inside it's open plan but with lots of small areas formed by the remains of internal walls. One end has a small sitting room and next to that a dart board and a couple of tables, the middle has the counter and more tables and down some steps to the left is an area with a pool table, juke box and a big screen as well as its own fireplace, this bit is decorated with football ephemera such as scarves and programmes. There is a tiny door in the wall stating “Toilet for little people”, there were a few children in but I didn't see them try to use this, or indeed any shorter adults from the mixed clientèle. The Coopers theme is reflected in a few barrels lurking about and three wooden buckets over the counter to collect loose change for different charities. Four handpulls, a T-Bar and a Fosters fount grace the counter, and the beer quality is pretty good. Opposite the door to the Gents is a display of photos etc, from the pub's earlier incarnation as the Oddfellows, apparently before that it was the Golden Lion. There is also a beer garden at the back. It's probably the most interesting pub internally in the town.
