Bucking Fastard left this review about Creykes Arms Hotel

Attractive location opposite The Green, there is a public bar to the right of the entrance and a lounge to the left. The interior is quite large and there is a further saloon to the rear of the lounge and the decor is fairly mainstream with some local photographs adorning tne walls.Although there were two new looking handpumps,no real ale was being served.A few pump clips above the bar show that there has been a fleeting appearance of decent beer here but the impression given by the barman was that there is now no interest in pandering to ale drinkers.Enquiries about food at lunchtime also elicited a negative response so had a very swift Stella then off to the Costcutter for a sarnie.Plus point was that this pub opens at lunchtime unlike Jemmy Hirst at The Rose and Crown.

I've given this one star as I can't give it zero. No real ale on offer so we settled on indifferent pints of Guiness, Stella and Cider.
