Closed when i worked for Scottish and Newcastle this was a very busy pub with its letting bedrooms and the very big function room it was hard to get booked into for accommodation or a function but sadly those days have gone

The Olde Star Inn looked very appealing from the outside and i was expecting to have a drink of real ale here but i did'nt get one as it only sells keg beers i had the Tetley Mild keg version the bitter on the bar was John Smiths smooth,the pub seemed quite dark inside and was very quiet when i went in a bit dissapointing.
