Steve C left this review about The Wildman

The Wildman has wood floor throughout and a front seating area with a high banquette along the right-hand wall and a fireplace with fake burner on the left. In between are normal tables and chairs and above the burner is a television, live football is advertised. An L-shaped bar counter is found on the left-hand wall at the rear, premium and craft keg are available alongside three hand pumps. These were drawing Black Sheep, Sharp’s Atlantic and Greene King’s future Brewers Spring Break. The music was funky dance and the crowd mainly consisted of twenty-somethings so this isn’t somewhere I’d seek out again.

A lot of the former reviewers description still holds true, definitely still on the trendy side of things, an odd mix of Boho/med/cocktail bar all mixed into one, seating on the wooden flooring was an equal mix of high and low chairs and tables, raised benches, sofas and poufee's. there was also a large TV screen at one end of the bar with muted Sky Sports on, a decent and varied selection of music was playing at a medium level, a couple of notches below being invasive. Two cask beers on out of three handpumps, Doom Bar and Adnams Ghost Ship, I of course plumped for the latter. For non real ale fans there was a slection of craft, premium lager and cider on keg. All in all it was pleasant and relaxing but not somewhere I would mak repeat visits.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Wildman

The attractive exterior of this historic pub - named after Peter the Wildboy who mysteriously turned up in Norwich in the 18th century - has recently been refurbished, but this only hints at the thorough modernisation inside. Opened out to form a 'L'-shaped bar: light at the front but quite gloomy towards to the rear (although the bar counter itself is well lit). Four of six handpumps on when I visited, offering Wherry, Pride, Broadside and Ghost Ship (£3.60). Overall, now a strange mixture of trendy bar and ale house.

Alan Winfield left this review about Wild Man

The Wild Man used to be a Tolly Cobbold tied house.
This pub is in the middle of Norwich and it is on a nice looking cobbled street.
Once inside the pub is fairly comfortable and it has'nt been altered that much, there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Adnams bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was GK Abbot.
I thought this was a decent pub to have a few drinks in.
