Strongers . left this review about The Drawing Rooms
Drawing Rooms has high booth seating in the front window and up the windowed left hand side opposite an L-shaped bar counter up the right-hand wall. The parquet flooring leads to the rear where steps descend to a seating area with shell booth seating up the left and standard seating the right. Craft keg was available during a recent Thursday evening visit, and one of the two hand pumps was in operation drawing Butcombe Original. You wouldn’t normally find me in a bar that is dimly lit with a pink hue whilst 1970s and 80s background music played, but there you go, and I actually enjoyed my visit which was mainly due to the friendly service. I doubt I’ll return, but I’ll always have the memories.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Birdcage
This Greene King pub doesn't initially catch the eye, but this is quite an appealing Art Deco building of you stand back and take a look. Although the bar is smaller than one might expect, there is also further seating down a few steps in the implausibly named 'Ballroom'. With two of three handpumps in use, I found IPA (£3.80, and in as good shape as this much-maligned beer gets) and Old Speckled Hen available, and a reversed Bath Ales Gem clip was also noted.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Birdcage
This one room bar we were told, is due to go under refurbishment. The interior was fairly non-descript on our visit and so were the choice of ales,GK IPA and luckily for us,there was Old Hooky on. The 1930s art deco building does attract you to this pub. This pub is a sister pub to the Sir Garnet. If you happen to visit the Grosvenor Fish Bar across the road, you can take your meal into the pub, where cutlery is provided.
