Old Boots left this review about The Plasterers Arms

An odd U shaped counter within an L shaped room, very narrow in both directions of this corner pub. It has five pulls on three counter faces but only the five on the front face are active, to their credit they polish the brass on the unused ones, Angram of Yorkshire has made a few bob here. Fairly interesting local brews on the five engines and eleven keg taps offer something different. Good old mix of furniture, kitchen tables, sewing machine tables, chunky tall ones. There's a fair bit of grey paint been splashed about including in the gents. There’s a couple of back rooms as well off each side. Like many Norwich GBG pubs it has its share of idiots, tossers and yogurt knitters. Not particularly dreadful but I was served a very short measure, when did 500ml replace the pint?

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plasterers Arms

Side-street local with an unfussy U-shaped interior; initial looking quite compact, but more seating is available further back. Had a quick half of the tasty Yeaster Bunny from Mr Winters, one of interesting five real ales from the three banks of five handpumps, before heading off to catch a train.

The Plasterers Arms is a back street boozer with a U-shaped bar counter that supports around ten craft keg products and fifteen hand pumps spread across a bank of five on each side of the bar. Only the front five were in operation during a recent Friday afternoon visit. These were drawing Moongazer’s Pintail, Nene Valley Brewery’s Loop Daddy and Egyptian Cream, Mr Winter’s The Yeaster Bunny, Burning Sky Brewery’s Extra Stock Ale. There’s also a fridge full of craft cans for those that like to unnecessarily blow their money. The doors open at 14:00 Monday to Thursday and food is available late afternoon through to the evening Friday to Monday.
Floorboards run throughout and in the larger right-hand side of the pub there is seating in the front windows and on the split-level area at the rear. A few stools line the bar counter, and in the right-hand wall opposite is a fireplace with burner. The left hand-side is much smaller with a table in the front window and another fireplace on the left-hand wall, but this one houses some full bookshelves. In the left rear corner is a round table under a television that was showing muted BT Sport. Behind the bar in the left rear is a small seating area that I didn’t visit. I found the service to be friendly and the locals were all harmless enough, so there’s no reason why I wouldn’t visit here again.

Not the biggest of places. A smallish main square bar and then a corridor leads to two further areas, one being a snug room at the very end which has a couple of tables and a very impressive beer bottle collection on a shelf which runs round the three sides.
There is a bank of five handpumps on each of the two sides of the small serving area, but only the bank facing the entrance were in use dispensing the five ales listed by Mr Fastard below. I ducked the 7.2% Burning Sky brew and in an effort to try and stay local went for the Mr Winters Yeaster Bunny Hazy Pale Ale, which was a very nice drop.
It was getting towards early Friday evening by this time and the pub was suitably busy affording standing room only for our party. But I saw enough to know that if I lived locally I would be utilising this one along with the Leopard and The Kings Head, which was our next port of call.
I hope the residents of this northern section of the City of Norwich fully appreciate how blessed they are with good pubs.

Closer still to the Leopard, it’s as described below.
A half of Nene Valley Egyptian Cream was fine, price forgotten.

Close to the Leopold ,this street corner boozer has two sections with a back lounge. This was a very brief crawl visit so I failed to note much apart from the ale range of Moongazer Pintail,Nene Valley Loop Daddy and Egyptian Creme (NBSS 4),Mr Winters Easter Bunny and Burning Sky Extra Stock Ale.Gained a mark for an interesting mix of styles and strengths ,a GBG 2023 entry and most worthy of a crawl visit.

Down to earth local with no frills, but offering some good and interesting beers on the five handpumps in use, plus more crafty keg stuff. They seem to specialise in micro-breweries and lesser-known brews; mind you going into a pub and asking for an Egyptian Cream and an Easter Bunny is on the verge of silly! Certainly one to include on a Norwich visit though.

Had high hopes for this one but the stark brightly-lit interior with its white and ‘dirty’ green colour scheme put me right off. A vast amount pumps clearly not used. Still table service (yawn). Four ales on, my Brass Castle Session was another mediocre (NBSS 2.5) GBG-hyped disappointment. Craft seems to be the seller here, and cask is the casualty.
Visited early August.

A backstreet boozer that has taken on a modern craft beer approach, It's made up of three rooms still with a modern but still pubby feel. At the time of my visit there were four cask beers on plus nine on the keg taps including one lager and one Cider, all drinks were priced by the half pint. I had a pint of Three Blind Mice Amarillo BBC & Mosaic on cask £4.00 and half a Pohjala Kosmos on keg £ 2.85. It was quiet on my afternoon visit but a great pub all the same.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Plasterers Arms

Last time I visited Norwich in February 2019, this was my favourite pub. So, I made sure to pay a return visit this time around.

As with a few other pubs, it didn't seem quite as good. It's a fairly small place, but with real ales and craft beers. The choice yesterday was Adnams Ghost Ship, Three Blind Mice Raspberry & Vanilla Porter & Signature Brew Roadie. The cider was Snail's Bank Orchard Dry, whilst craft beers came from Lost & Grounded, Brew By Numbers, Hammerton, Burnt Mill, Vault City & The White Hag.

Still a decent option to find some unusual beers, especially if you enjoy craft beer. But after several other decent pubs, this wasn't my favourite on this visit.
