Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Gatehouse

Substantial roadhouse, retaining an apparently untouched three-room layout comprising the central bar are plus a lounge to one side and another room housing a pool table on the other. Dark wood panelling and a fine fireplace. Large rear beer garden. Live music advertised. Four handpumps on the bar, but beers are served direct from stillage by the splendidly-bewhiskered landlord. Several local offerings available, and I enjoyed my pint of Grain Oak (£2.90). Worth a trip out from the city centre if you have time.

Gill Smith left this review about The Gate House

Had to catch a bus (19 or 20) from Norwich centre to visit this pub that features in the 2013 Good Beer Guide. Beers are from gravity cask, and they are of good quality. There is a lovely garden at the back and you can walk down to the river Wensum where there are tables. The pub has teams for crib, pool and darts, and they have live music nights and folk nights. We enjoyed Woodfordes Wherry and Grain Oak here.
