Old Boots left this review about Kings Head

Larger pub just outside the Market Place, two bars, both just designated bar but the left hand is  more split up and has booths and leather furniture, there’s a separated area at the end labelled Taproom. To the right is more traditionally a public bar with a pool table and the six hand pumps. Beers are mainly from Moon Gazer so not a problem for my tastes. A right old mix of styles in the decor ranging from navy surplus grey to exposed brick by way of neo-Georgian. Bare board floors and a couple of nice fireplaces, decent staff, there are many worse places for a drink.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Kings Head

With only time for 1 pub in the town of Holt, we decided on the King's Head. In fact, after entering, we also decided to eat here, as a table was available.

The pub caters well for both drinkers and diners. The dining area is set in a conservatory to the rear. There is also a small outside drinking area behind the front bar.

Woodforde's Wherry is a regular ale here. They also had a couple of beers from Moon Gazer - Pintail & Nibbler, in addition to Adnams Ghost Ship. My pork and chorizo burger was nice. The Nibbler went well with it, whilst service was nice and friendly.

I think we probably chose the best of the pubs in Holt to visit.

Thuck Phat left this review about Kings Head Public House

The Kings Arms is an attractive, whitewashed, traditional building slap bang in the middle of the town centre. To the right on entry is a large bar area which has various fruit machines and a pool table but feels pretty civilised nonethless. To the left is a wooden floored seating area with tables which are used for food at lunchtimes. The atmosphere is warm as is the welcome.
The menu looked good but we only dabbled with paprika smoked whitebait which was excellent.
Six handpumps were serving Adnams Broadside and Bitter, GK London Glory, Woodforde Wherry, Green Jack Excelsior and Westgate Fireside Ale which was good. All local breweries and a couple of micros and judging by the display of pumpclips over the bar the beers do rotate and there is an emphasis on local breweries.
A quality boozer in a very attractive small town and I'd certainly return if in the area.
