Previously Broads Haven Tavern, the modern building has reopened as a pub, rerstaurant and cafe. There is a small outside seating area overlooking the river, and there is a limited amount of parking shared with other local businesses. The pub is reopenign in phases throughout 2018. At present there is only megakeg beer on, and food is restricted to ‘lite bites’ and pizzas. It has something of a seaside family venue about it, really not my kind of thing, and given the lack of ale I shan’t be rushing back in the near future. Maybe it will return to its former glory in time.

We stumbled upon this pub by chance.
The pub is a bit like a Tardis; it's a lot bigger inside than you would think from the outside.
The bacon and tomato baguette (it was a lunch-time visit) was really good, as was my pint of Wherry.
Would certainly not be averse to calling in again. Well worth a visit.
