A large open plan interior with quite a rustic/industrial feel. Keg only.

Another American style diner/bar, a single room with an open kitchen,tv screens showing music channels,volume up, keg only , I had a half of (pseudo craft) Caledonian Coast to Coast at £2.30. I dont know how good the food is but not a place I come back to for a drink.

I watched the second half of the Man U(re) game in here on Saturday and found it to be pleasant, but couldn't help thinking that it has a bit of a identity crisis. I feel it is trying to be classy yet it doesn't really cater for that kind of custom. It is open until 2.30am at the weekends so maybe all of the socialites turn up at midnight with their three quid entry and play on the table football until the wee hours.
Various lagers are available from the bar and I found the staff to be friendly enough. There had been a rugby match at Twickenham and at some point during the day they had been selling 6X and GK IPA, but these were both off.
The pub has the ability to air Sky Sports and Setanta on their four plasma screens that are dotted around. You can also see one of these screens from the heated patio area at the rear of the pub.
There's not much wrong with this place, it just didn't really do it for me.

i need to make a correction, that picture is not related to the grand union we never ever look like that, we are a classic burger bar and cocktail lounge. we are open until 1am on thursday and 2.30am on friday and saturday, booking are available at twickenham@gugroup.co.uk come try our delicious burger and cocktail
