Quinno _ left this review about The Beehive Inn

A turn-of-the-century corner local in the backstreets near the station with two separate bars serving a decent and competitively-priced pint of London Pride and Courage Best. The wooden interior of the saloon bar appears to have changed little since the 1960’s, the same can be said for the outside lavs as well! There's a bit of atmosphere in there, and I quite liked the ambience of the saloon bar. However, be prepared for the resident drinkers to hush down and stare at you when you enter, they don’t seem to take overly well to new faces – the landlord should help a bit more in this regard. Some basic rolls available behind the bar for £1.30.

Worth popping in for a quick one if you're near the station – it’s not bad but could be really quite good with a little extra application.
