E TA left this review about The Bell

A 1930s built town pub, originally owned by Inde Coope and now a GK outlet, in a small local shopping area, larger than many similar pubs and still in very good condition. There are some covered seats at the front and limited parking. The single large L-shaped bar has tv screens at both ends, both showing live sports matches at full volume. Sadly, they were showing different events, and the ensuing cacophony made conversation problematic. There were a variety of human and canine customers lounging around which made it feel rather homely. An array of gaming machines provides entertainment for those who need it. Two ales on, GK IPA and Golden Glory, both overgassed but drinkable. A decent local, not a destination of choice but good to drop in for a pint if you're already here, and the sort of traditional local that should be listed as a ACV
