Not been in here for several years, and I paid a return visit in February. At the bar, eight hand pulls tell a tale consistent with my memory of a decent ale selection in years gone by, but fast forward to 2026 and only four of these were on, offering Doom Bar, Hophead, Sea Fury and St Austell Hicks. The Hicks was perfectly fine but it wasn't the most exciting of line-ups. Keg is all fairly mainstream with just Brewdog Wingman standing out ad being a bit different.

I seem to recall having lunch but I haven't made any note with regard to food and I can't remember what I had - I daresay if it had been disgusting it would have left a lasting impression, so that's something.

There is a car park (requires validation) and a beer garden is signposted.

Gents are OK but the floor was a bit grimy in the corners, so perhaps the cleaning could be a bit more thorough.

It's really a food led pub and in that respect it was fine, but I probably wouldn't bother heading back just for a drink.

An Ember Inns pub and they're usually nice enough pubs. Typical Ember Inns decor and an open plan layout with various areas to sit. Beer choice can be either good or bad and it was good on my visit. Very foodie.
