Update
Still a very friendly little pub. They had Bath ales Gem and spa plus Triple FFF Brewery Ramble Tamble plus one other on hand pump. Very pleasant late on a Friday night.

Used to just serve three Bath Ales in the cosy little pub. More recently they have had other good ales on aswell as Bath ales. When we were in here the vinyl record player was being manned by (presumably) the Landlord.

Lovely friendly pub, and great to see a Penzance beer here - a favourite when in Cornwall. From the clips the beer must be popular with locals here too. I asked for the Penzance Jolly Farmer and Saltaire Triple Chocoholic and was straight away offered a taster of them first. Both beers were excellent, and we enjoyed this friendly pub. Vinyl record collection available for customers to choose to play, and the walls have music theme memorabilia decor.

Close by St Philips Bridge, the aptly named Bridge Inn is a small free house which describes itself as “probably the smallest and friendliest pub in Bristol”. An unusually narrow entrance doorway leads into a pleasant, if rather unremarkable, bare boarded interior with fixed banquette seating around the walls. A partly green colour scheme does jar somewhat.
On my recent Monday evening visit, I was able to take advantage of the pub’s Real Ale Monday promotion with beer at £ 2 per pint. The 4 pumps were serving 2 Bath Ales – Gem and SPA – plus beers from Teignworthy and Burton Bridge. The pub is listed in the 2011 CAMRA Good Beer Guide.
This is a reasonable pub to include in any central crawl and to sample the wares of Bath Ales, of which two are usually available so I gather, but don’t turn up mob handed.

As previously mentioned a small one room corner pub on the edge of central Bristol. It’s very much a locals pub but is worth searching out if you’re a visitor to Bristol because the beers are very good and the place has a cosy charm to it.
The Bath Ales of Gem and SPA were complemented by two Yeovil Ales, Posh IPA and Summerset and the both of these were very good and well kept.
The stereo system next to the bar with an assortment of rock and roll records is an interesting touch, but I particularly liked the collection of framed album covers adorning the walls, the Uriah Heep album especially as that is buried in my collection somewhere and hasn’t seen the light of day for years.

Returned, staff more friendly than previous visits. Ale was Teignworthy Neap Tide and was reasonable. Bath ales(zzzz) also available. Several "former" Kings Head and 7 Stars punters in. Hmm.....

The Bridge is still ok,the RCH guest beer lately has been good. The music can be only described as rubbish though, not fitting the clientelle so probably the barmans choice. (Thank god for the gramaphone!)Still reasonable overall but not the mecca that some profess.

I've always had good experiences here but always found it better if the owner,Rab,is on the premises. The Bath ales are always good, and a guest occasionally appears,Tring being a frequent visitor. Record player(with Roxy Music and Led Zepplin lps!!!) available for general use,you can even bring your own records.

Another small pub, in which this part of the country seems to excel. There was a decent selection of beers and I had a good pint of the 5.5% Cheddar Goats Leap.

Small pub with 3 ales pumps and it looks like there is a good rotation of beers.

Doombar, Bath Spa & Gem, Pontypridd (Otley) O-Garden. The latter was available from the cellar and, when this was offered, I first thought he said Hoegarden but glad I eventually tried it, very flavoursome, & later available on handpump. Clips above the till showed what was coming next – Darkstar Meltdown, Yeovil Posh IPA, Otley O2, RCH Double Header. Tiny pub with wall banquettes surrounding 4 tables and, well, that's it. Friendly service from the Polish(?) couple, a notice behind the bar announced bookings were being taken for ‘Christmas Breakfast', champagne etc, which was declared excellent by American, Brislington Lyn (“one n – I'm poor”) in the other group last Sunday lunch. Homemade specials board showed sponge pudding, £1.50 after yr Sunday roast. I reckon 20 customers would fill this place, maybe that happens on Happy Mondays; £2 pints all day. I didn't notice the gramaphone, but this visit followed a very late night. On leaving, I was disproportionately pleased that Lyn recognised my username when I said I'd include her in the review, haha.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bridge Inn

Stopped off for a quick pint on the way back to my hotel not long after 10 pm to find the barman in the process of shutting-up shop despite still having quite a few customers in. Fortunately, he said "you've just made it" and went inside this cozy little corner pub. A reasonable selection of Bath Ales and other local beers. Enjoyed my pint of something I think was called Seven Maidens Mild (but a subsequent internet search didn't produce any details).
