Still promising real ales, still hasn't got any. What it does have though is an all pervading unpleasant smell. It's horseshoe shaped inside and has flashing lights outside to tempt you in. We decided to stay for a quick one and I had a pint of fizz, which didn't taste great and Ms CAMRA had a half of Strongbow. The barmaid/landlady decided to spare us her friendly banter, wit and repartee by serving us with a curt hello and then disappearing into the back room for the rest of our stay. What fantastic customer service. It's dire and on this showing won't be around much longer.
