Now reopened as The Mermaid Tavern. Apparently Shakespeare themed but it was lost on me. Lots of tellies dotted around showing Sky Sports Jousting Channel, which seemed to consist of horses running races without big long poles. The pub is quite compact serving trendy fizzpops on the bar with no real ale or mead available. Modern day prices also. In keeping with the Shakespeare theme it's... erm... crap.
