Old Boots left this review about Coopers

Small station buffet above the platform entrances in Lime Street Station, there is a big french window that overlooks the concourse. It is a small square room with the bar counter down one side, modern panelling at one end, anaglypta and bare walls at the other. It is decorated with more interesting prints and pictures than you may expect and only one is of a railway subject. There is modern stained glass in the ceiling and also in a couple of those wooden screens beloved of pub architects. Furniture is a series of small tables with chairs, a posing table with stools and a couple of freestanding benches. Although the sign on the window says “cask conditioned-hand pulled” it is wrong, all the beer sold is keg; lager, Guinness and smooth or bottled. The fridges are full of bottled beers, Cobra being the most interesting one I spotted. You get a printed receipt for your drinks for some reason.
